Palio di Siena:

Congratulations to the "Contrada dell'Oca" that won the Palio di Siena on July 2nd! The Palio is a horse race held twice a year: in July and in August. It is the Tuscan equivalent the Calgary Stampede and the entire city of Siena is incredibly proud of this unique tradition. If you happen to be in Siena on August 16th, it is a great opportunity to experience this incredible race kept unchanged for over 200 years.
