Dear Luna and Arlene, We have just arrived home after returning from another trip to Italy. June and I sat with our favorite bottle of wine and started to reminisce over all the tours we have booked with Ciao Tours. After searching the internet for hours in 2001, we found this little company promising great tours to Italy. We were not disappointed! September, 2001, we embarked on our first trip to Europe only 2 weeks after the destruction of the World Trade Towers. Before we left, Arlene was so thorough and patient in explaining each detail of our trip from who will be meet us at the airport, what to expect from the Hotels and Guides. Nothing was left unconfirmed and we knew we were in good hands. On that trip we explored Rome & Tuscany. The greatest memory was our first meeting with Ciao Tours. We were standing at the entrance of the Fortezza, late for a wine tasting at 12:00 noon. Out of breath from getting lost in the medieval streets of Siena, we were arguing which way to go, left or right down the ramps to the wine cellars deep in the fortress. Just then, a short, smartly dressed woman with blue eye shadow and a charming smile came up to us and said, “You must be Ken and June.” How did this stranger know our names? Well of course, she was Luna – our beloved Luna – from Ciao Tours. That’s the kind of service you get when you book with Ciao Tours. After 3 more trips to Italy (2004, 2006, 2009) booked by our friends at Ciao Tours, we have experienced and seen so much of this beautiful county. Luna and Arlene, you keep discovering the best of what Italy has to offer. It’s true… we have become Ciao Tours junkies! The company that you have developed based on your attention to detail and consumer service out rivals any Fortune500 Company. June and I are truly blessed to have seen this small company grow. We have already started planning our next trip to Italy for 2010.
