Just above the major Chianti town of Greve, in the little village of Montefiorale, this residence occupies the former barrel house of a noble ancient estate. The owners, a Belgian cardiologist and his wife, have taken full advantage of the open plan and high ceilings of the structure to create a dramatic contemporary living space. Their unique taste is evident throughout with one-of-a-kind pieces such as a chair carved from an enormous oak trunk and its matching desk made of the upper branches.
The proximity to the village of Montefioralle – just a few minutes walk from the gate – is extremely convenient with two restaurants and shops as well as a beautiful castle. Florence, along the fast-moving Chiantigiana Road is just 40 minutes away.
Lovers of high design will adore the urbane chic and contemporary sensibility of this beautiful gallery-house. Combined with stunning views, the Villa dei Tini is one of the finest offerings in this part of Tuscany.

Accommodation Details:
On the Ground Floor: The main façade features four large arched loggia windows which access an enormous Great Room with a large fireplace and dramatic contemporary furniture. There is also an eat-in contemporary kitchen with seating for ten, a large work counter and all modern appliances. There is an adjacent butler’s pantry with washer and dryer.
Beside the kitchen is a open-plan media room with two large sectional Hollywood daybeds. This connects to a tiled bath with shower.
On the Upper Level: There is an access from the parking area. Beautiful oak floors and dramatic architecture with a passarelle encircling the Great Room below. Two double bedrooms share a large bathroom with a double vanity and tub. There is a separate toilet cabin. One of the bedrooms has a dramatic arched picture window with a spectacular view over the neighbouring hills.
On the Lower Level: There are two symmetrical double bedrooms separated by a shared bath with tub . These rooms can also be accessed directly from the exterior.
Outside Areas: Along the main façade is a paved terrace with wrought iron furniture including a dining table and access down to the lower garden terraces where a rectangular swimming pool offers a spectacular view. It is surrounded by laurels, rosemary and lavender and is fully furnished with chaise longue, umbrellas and a dining table.
