“Roma, non Basta una vita” translates as “Rome, one lifetime isn’t enough” and couldn’t be a more appropriate saying for this wondrous city. You could easily spend a week exploring Rome’s historic core, the Coliseum and the Vatican.

Bold and brassy, Campania's capital city of Naples is the proud birthplace of pizza. Vesuvius' violent eruption 2,000 years ago both destroyed and preserved the ancient cities of Pompei and Herculaneum, an absolute must-see. The narrow highway leading down the Amalfi Coast can be a harrowing, albeit picturesque, drive to the memorable towns of Amalfi, Sorrento, Positano and Ravello. Or, take a right to the water instead, and travel by ferry or hydrofoil to the famed island of Capri to celebrity-spot

Florence, the Renaissance City, is one of the most fascinating towns in the world due to its incredible abundance of art treasures. It was a Roman town, but its great history starts at the beginning of the 12thc. Thanks to the industry of its people. The Medici, a very wealthy merchant family, brought the city to its greatest prosperity, making Florence one of the most brilliant art centers of the 15th c.

Venice sits at the heart of a lagoon laced together with 400 bridges, 2000 alleys and 170 canals. The best way to see Venice is one district at a time and while it may at first look like a maze, the web of streets is much easier to navigate than one might suspect. As a car free city, you must walk everywhere in Venice and where you cannot walk, you go by water, often traveling by Vaporetti (water buses) or traghetti (traditional gondola ferries). Once you have grasped a few key streets such as the Rialto (Venice’s old commercial heart) and Piazza San Marco (the city most famous square), the distances are relatively short.

Whatever your tastes, each cities has something for everyone to explore.
